How might we better care for and retain
Gen Z early talent?

Turning inward to become an ally for our employees and early talent analysts.

90% of people experience anxiety before starting a new job. In a world of increased competition, noise, and turnover - we realized there was an opportunity to be an Ally to an overlooked group of people within our walls: our new hires. There was a 6-month gap in communication between offer and first day, so we developed a “keep warm” strategy to build excitement and belonging.

What + How

Project Outcomes

Mapped existing paths of Ally’s early talent hiring and onboarding journeys.

Created holistic end-to-end recruiting and “keep warm” campaign to better nurture, retain and excite early talent between offer and start (6 months).

Researched Gen Z experience values through focus groups and interviews.

Designed “Belong. Grow. Lead.” campaign based on core value findings.

Lead creative direction for a photo and four-part video campaign surrounding the pre-boarding digital experience.

Developed, researched, designed and wrote enterprise-wide guide to welcome Gen Z hires. “Live. Work. Play” addresses the top three areas new hires worry about: moving to a new city, what to do in that city and what they need to know to have an embarrassment-free day one.

Developed LinkedIn articles, social media, custom shirts and other digital collateral to instill a sense of pride and purpose for new analysts.
